Haley’s first creative writing assignment was to tell the story of the Gold Rush from the perspective of a gold nugget.

She went outside and found her nugget in the rough.  She washed, dried, and painted it gold.

She grabbed her laptop and typed her little heart out.  This little creative writing assignment yielded a story that was worth it’s weight in gold.
