You can download your copy here at our TPT Store.
On Monday, the boys traced their verse while listening to the Sing the World track.
On Wednesday, the boys cut and pasted their Bible verse in their Bible notebooks.
LANGUAGE ARTS:
Grammar Grab Bag:
I created a Fall on the Farm Grammar Grab Bag for this week’s language Arts activities.

You can purchase your copy here at our TPT Store.
Spelling:

First, we reviewed compound words and Parker spelled one on his spelling mat (In GGB).

Parker used his spelling cards and completed his compound word worksheet (in GGB).

Parker practiced his spelling words using his word search puzzle (in GGB).
Compound Words:
I set out our Pumpkin Farm Compound Word cards (in GGB) for Parker to match.

Parker paired the apple word cards with the matching pumpkin word cards.

Afterwards, he used his dot paints to complete the Pumpkin Compound Words Match & Color worksheets (in GGB).
MATH:
Calendar:
I printed November calendar pages for the boys to complete.
The boys added the dates, holidays, and birthdays to their worksheet.
Leaf Man Acrostic Art Project:
I thought it would be fun to pair this week’s poetry creative writing assignment with Leaf Man by Lois Ehlert.

Since fresh leaves are abundant this time of year, I set out a variety with Elmers white glue.

Parker created his own “leaf man” using all the different sized leaves. I wrote “Leaf man” in fall colors at the top.

He filled in his autumn-themed acrostic poem. We set it aside to dry.

Parker’s Leaf man was adorable! There just isn’t enough time to read all our favorite fall books, but I’m glad we were able to work in Leaf Man.

We’re trying to escape outdoors as much as possible to enjoy the beauty of this colorful season.
