I printed the next tracer page of our John 15 Bible Verse printable.

We traced verses five and six and continued to put the entire six verses to memory. It’s a little rocky in places, but we’ll get there.

Grammar Grab Bag:

I created a Crazy for Hot Chocolate themed grammar grab bag (GGB) for this week’s language arts activities.

Spelling:

I printed copies of the spelling cards, letter tiles, spelling mat, and coordinating worksheets (GGB).

First, Parker read this week’s spelling rule.

Next, he thought of a word that uses the spelling rule and built it on his mat.

ABC Order:

Next, he used his spelling cards to put his words in alphabetical order.

Then he wrote his spelling words in alphabetical order on the worksheet.

The next day, Parker used his spelling cards to complete his sentences.

Coordinating Conjunctions:

First, we reviewed coordinating conjunctions during Parker’s grammar lesson.

Afterwards, Parker completed his Coordinating Conjunctions worksheet.

Grammar Ace:

I created a bird’s nest themed page layout for our lesson on Types of Senteces.

First, we added the sticker title in the notebook.

Next, Parker matched the “In a Nutshell” terms (nests) with their matching

Lastly, we added our coordinating conjunctions.

Reading:

We continued reading from our winter themed books.

MATH:

Calendar:

I printed copies of our January calendar worksheets for the kids to work on.

The boys added dates, holidays and birthdays to their calendar worksheets.
