Memory Verse:

Jordan didn’t memorize a Bible verse for this chapter, but he continued through the FIAR Bible lessons for chapter 12.

Teamwork:

Learning how to work as a team is vital in every stage of your life. You’ll have group projects in school and team projects at work. Learning how to collaborate and cooperate are essential. People depend on you and you depend on them.

Group projects aren’t always possible while working through independent homeschool curriculum, but my husband has taught our three kids a computer class for the third consecutive year.

The object of his class is to create a new software game. They work together to create, plan and develop the story elements. Afterwards, they divide and conquer. Each part of the game depends on each person’s deliverables. If one person doesn’t complete their assignment, the program won’t run.

As with other chapters, Jordan answered the discussion question in his FIAR notebook.

Vocabulary:

Bub completed the chapter 12 vocabulary worksheet.

Jordan read about sound in the The Usborne Science Encyclopedia.
