FIAR Bible Supplement:

Parker read the FIAR Bible lessons for this Chapter from the FIAR Bible Supplement.

Bible Verse:

Parker wrote and memorized Leviticus 19:18 as his Bible verse for this chapter.

SOCIAL STUDIES:

Geography – Prairie Notebook:

Since most of the entries were prairie flowers, we decided to use this section as both a geography and science unit.

First, I had Parker read Flowers by Gail Gibbons.

Afterwards, he sketched the flora in his prairie notebook.

Life Skills – Always Something to Miss:

Parker added notes about what he would miss, about his hometown, if he ever had to move away.

LANGUAGE ARTS:

Writing & Discussion Question:

Parker answered the discussion question in his FIAR notebook.

Character Compilation – Maggie:

Parker filled in his “Character Compilation” page for Maggie. He sketched a picture then added notes about her character.
