This week Haley was learning about Theodore Roosevelt.  She read about Teddy Roosevelt and the birth of the “Teddy” bear.

I seized the “FUN” moment and added a little art surprise in her Core E playlist. She was THRILLED!

We had recently read The Legend of the Teddy Bear by Frank Murphy which would be a great pair with this art project.

She followed along with the Art for Kids Hub Teddy Bear art tutorial.  She LOVED the little art break between subjects.

It turned out really adorable! She colored it and gave it to Parkie as a gift (he’s the BIGGEST bear lover in our family).  SUPER sweet sweetie!
