Haley was learning about the electromagnetic spectrum, radio waves, and more!  How does that apply to our everyday life?

Introducing the microwave…Let’s read, learn, and DO!

Hot Cocoa Time:

I set out ingredients to make hot cocoa and called Haley to the kitchen.

Haley broke apart the milk chocolate bar and put it into the microwave.

She heated the chocolate in short intervals, stirred, and repeated until it was completely melted.

Next we added a small amount of milk to make the chocolate a syrup consistency.

Finally, we added more milk to make a chocolate milk consistency and topped it with mini marshmallows.  What a sweet treat and a fun ending to our science lessons for the week!
