I created a Bible verse printable for Matthew 5:1-16.

On Monday, Parker traced the first two verses.

On Wednesday, he glued his verse in his Bible notebook. On Thursday, he recited it from memory.

SOCIAL STUDIES:

This week, we continued our study of Africa.

I printed the jungle habitat worksheets, from our growing bundle, for Parker to complete.

While I read aloud, Parker colored, cut and pasted the Layers of the Rain Forest worksheet, from our growing bundle.

Parker color-coded rain forests by continent on the Jungles Around the World worksheet.

The following day, he color-coded jungles around the world using the map in our Wild Places book.

We continue enjoying the stories in With Two Hands. This book has been an amazing addition to our African studies!

This week, we wrapped up our study of The Tree Lady. Many of the books we read were relevant to our history and book study.

Specifically, we read about jungles, trees, leaves, and photosynthesis.
