Seventh Grade – Fifth Grade – Third Grade

SOCIAL STUDIES – American History (Level 100):

This fall, Haley will be entering seventh grade, Jordan will be in fifth grade and Parker will enter third grade. This year, Haley will be using the American History – Literature 100 pack.

FIVE IN A ROW (FIAR) Curriculum:

This year we plan to work through the rest of the level 3 books and begin the level 4 books.

SOCIAL STUDIES – Intro to American History I (Level D):

Parker will be using the Sonlight Intro to American History I (Level D) program. We ordered the updated version since Sonlight made a few changes since we used it with Haley.

LANGUAGE ARTS:

Reading:

Haley will use the Literature 100 readers and language arts pack.

This year, I decided to create a reading shelf for Jordan to pick from. I really want him to enjoy what he reads. I decided to have Jordan use the Sonlight language arts D package for spelling and grammar lessons.

Parker will use the third grade readers and language arts 3 package for spelling and grammar lessons.

Handwriting without Tears:

Jordan will complete his cursive program using the HWOT (Handwriting without Tears) Cursive Handwriting Level 5 book.

Parker will be starting the HWOT (Handwriting without Tears) Cursive Handwriting Level 3 book.

Math:

Singapore Dimensions Math:

This year we decided to switch to Singapore Dimensions Math program.

Haley will be using the Dimensions Math Grade 7 books.

Jordan will be using the Dimensions Math Grade 5 books.

Parker will using the Dimensions Math Grade 3 books.

SCIENCE:

Haley will be using Sonlight’s Level H Technology science pack.

Parker will be using Sonlight’s third grade science program included in the Level D pack.
