History – Steam Engines:

While reading about the history of steam engines, I had Jordan read Trains by Gail Gibbons. I also gave him our Usborne Look Inside Trains.

LANGUAGE ARTS:

Writing & Discussion Question:

As with all other chapters, Jordan answered the writing and discussion question in his FIAR notebook.

Vocabulary:

Jordan completed the vocabulary worksheet for chapter eight.

SCIENCE:

Conduction, Convection & Radiation:

Jordan read about conduction, convection, and radiation in the Usborne Science Encyclopedia.
