Jordan recited Isaiah 40:31 as the memory verse for this chapter.

SOCIAL STUDIES:

Career – Chef or Baker:

Bub loves cooking and baking. He gets this passion from both his uncle Charles and his Teta.

In fact, he’s been busy in the kitchen since he was old enough to stir a spoon.

He’s had the privilege of working with his uncle in a professional restaurant during the holidays. Though he’s passionate about cooking, he would rather keep cooking as a hobby and pursue a career in engineering.

Since it was Middle Eastern night at youth group, Bub volunteered to bake baklava, using a precious family recipe.

LANGUAGE ARTS:

Writing & Discussion:

As with the other chapters, Jordan answered the writing and discussion question in his FIAR notebook.

Vocabulary:

Jordan completed the chapter seven worksheet I made him.

SCIENCE:

Where Stars Go in the Daytime:

Jordan continued his lessons about stars by reading The Magic School us Sees Stars.
