Haley has been learning about the Middle East in her Social Studies lessons. She wanted to make hummus for her end of unit “adventure”.

Haley found a recipe on AllRecipes, made a shopping list, and we bought the ingredients together over the weekend.

We gathered the ingredients and our food processor.

She rinsed the garbanzo beans.

She measured and added the ingredients in the food processor.

She blended it on high speed until it was smooth.

She continued to pulse and check it until it was completely smooth and creamy.

Then we drizzled some olive oil! Doesn’t it look scrumptious?

She sampled the fruits (or beans) of her labor and LOVED it! The boys gobbled it up at dinner….everyone agreed it was DELICIOUS!!!! Great Job Nu!
