Memory Verse:

I created a Bible verse printable for Ephesians 6:13-17.

On Monday, Parker traced the next two verses.

On Tuesday, he cut and pasted them in his Bible notebook. He continued to memorize them until he could recite them by heart.

Full Armor of God:

Since Parker was memorizing verses about the full armor of God, I thought it would be beneficial to study it.

I pulled out Tony Evans’ A Kid’s Guide to the Armor of God. My sister-in-law sent it a few years back and I was waiting for the perfect moment to include it in our homeschool Bible time.

As I read about the armor, Parker sketched each piece and jotted down the key points.

Vietnam:

Parker located Vietnam on our globe.

We read from our Eastern Hemisphere book as well as our All About Vietnam book. As I read-aloud, Parker filled out his Vietnam country report.

Parker added pictures around Southeast Asia in The Usborne Sticker Atlas of the World.

Eyes and Ears:

After reading about the human eyes and ears, Parker added stickers in his Usborne Human Body Sticker Book.
