We continued to read through our chapter lessons in the FIAR Bible and Character Supplement.

SOCIAL STUDIES:

Geography – Adding to Your Map of Edison’s Life:

Jordan color-coded the map of Edison’s life.

History – President Herbert Hoover:

Jordan had reviewed the presidents in Presidents of the United States.

He also read about “Hoover’s Economics” in Everything You Need to Ace American History in One Big Fat Notebook.

History – The Great Depression:

He also read about the great depression in Everything You Need to Ace American History in One Big Fat Notebook.

SCIENCE:

Edison’s Light Bulb – How it Works:

Bub read about electricity in What’s Science All About?

He also read The Magic School Bus and the Electric Field Trip.

Afterwards, he used his electrical kit to light up a bulb.
