Parker read both the scripture and the lesson material for this chapter, from the FIAR Bible Supplement Guide.
Bible Verse:
Parker wrote and memorized Ephesians 2:7 as his Bible verse for this chapter.
SOCIAL STUDIES:
History & Geography – The Spanish-American War:
Parker read about the Spanish-American War in Everything You Need to Ace American History in One Big Fat Notebook.
Afterwards, he painted Spain, Guam, Puerto Rico, the Philippines and Cuba on his World Map (Beautiful Feet Books).
Since he was learning about The Panama Canal, we turned this into an extra science unit. Parker read Engineering the Panama Canal on our EPIC app.
