BIBLE:
Memory Verse:
Parker already traced the last verse from our Psalm 121 Tracer pack.

You can download your FREE copy here at our TPT Store.

I accidentally gave Parker the Psalm 121:8 tracer worksheet the first week we started memorizing Psalm 121. So this week all he needed to do was add it to his Bible notebook.
He recited Psalm 121 from memory. Since we’re under “Shelter in Place” regulations, we sent his recording to the grandparents. They LOVED it! Great job Parks!
LANGUAGE ARTS:
Grammar Grab Bag:
I created an Easter themed Grammar Grab Bag (GGB) for this week’s language arts activities.

You can purchase your copy here at our TPT Store.
Spelling:
I printed and added the spelling cards, worksheet, candy cards, and sorting mat in Monday’s folder (Red).

First, we practiced spelling a word with this week’s letter combination. I said the word aloud and Parker spelled it out with the letter tiles on the spelling mat.

Afterwards, he practiced writing the words on his worksheet (in GGB).

On Tuesday, he pulled out his spelling cards and used them to complete his fun facts spelling worksheet.
Sound Sorting:
I put the Easter Candy word cards and sorting mat in Tuesday’s folder (Yellow).

Parker worked through the stack of cards, sorting by long i and long e sounds.

Afterwards, Parker colored the coordinating worksheet.
Abbreviations:
On Tuesday, we reviewed abbreviations.

Parker cut, pasted, and wrote abbreviations for months of the year, days of the week, postal codes, and titles.
MATH:
Lapbook:
This week we continued to work on Parker’s math lapbook.

We started our time pages. This week we just added a clock
Calendar:
I printed the April calendar pages from our Months of the Year booklet.

You can purchase your copy here at our TPT Store.

The boys read their April page and answered the coordinating questions.

They added the cardinal numbers and holidays on their calendars.

Lastly, they colored the April icon on their cover page.
SCIENCE:
Conducting Electricity:
I created a Conducting Electricity worksheet for Parker to use to record the data from his experiment.

You can download your FREE copy here at our TPT Store.

First, Parker added his predictions to his worksheet.

He tested some items that didn’t conduct electricity and recorded the results.

Then he tested other items that were MOST impressive!
