The boys traced verse 45 on Monday and 46 on Tuesday.

SOCIAL STUDIES:
On Wednesday, the boys cut & pasted their Bible verses in their Bible Notebook. They recited both on Thursday.
Lewis and Clark:
I created a Lewis and Clarke – Discovering Landforms lapbook printable.

You can purchase your copy here at our TPT Store.
The boys completed their landform inserts. We folded them and added them in our notebooks.
Fresh Water & Salt Water:
As Lewis & Clark approached the Pacific, they started to notice the water becoming salty.

First, Parker added salt to one jar.

Next, Parker added green food coloring to the salt jar and blue to our clean water jar.
Then I poured boiling water in our salt jar and Parker mixed the solution. The boiling water made it easier to “smell” the saltiness of the ocean.

Parker added ice cubes to each glass to cool it down.

We added our fresh water to the container.

Then we slowly added our salty water in our container.

The salt water sinks to the bottom and the fresh water stays at the top. I explained that this is what the men experienced as they approached the Pacific.

Parker and I read The Specific Ocean together on our Epic app.
