Under the Microscope:

We brought out our microscope since we were learning about living organisms that can only be seen under a microscope.

The kids had fun taking turns looking at the various slides.

Protist Art:

I set out a large sheet of construction paper, glue, and food dye. I though we could recreate the various protists we were learning about.

We squeezed out the glue, added food coloring, mixed and swirled our little protists.

After labeling them, we set them aside to dry.

Parker labeled various parts as we read about them in our biology book.

Parker added various details and colored the header.

His protists art project looked really cool!
