BIBLE:
Memorization:
The boys continued to memorize a segment from Martin Luther King, Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech.

LANGUAGE ARTS:
Grammar Grab Bag:
I created a Suesstastic themed Grammar Grab Bag (GGB) for this week’s language arts activities.

You can download it here at our TPT Store.
Spelling:
I printed Parker’s spelling cards, letter tiles, spelling mat, and spelling worksheets.

First, Parker read this week’s spelling rule.

He thought of a word using this week’s rule and built it on his spelling mat.

Afterwards, he used his spelling cards to practice writing his spelling words.

On Tuesday, he used his spelling cards to complete his spelling sentences.
Homophones:

After quickly reviewing homophones, Parker used his dot paints to color the matching truffula homophones.
Types of Sentences:

After reviewing the types of sentences and punctuation, Parker completed his Suesstastic Types of Sentences worksheet (in GGB).
Grammar Ace:

I set out the elements for our prefix and suffix page layout.

First, Parker added the title with our alphabet stickers.

Next, he matched the train terms to their “In a Nutshell” definitions.

It turned out really cute when we finished.
SCIENCE:
TOPs:
We continued our TOPs experiments.

This week was about learning and writing circuit symbols.
Solar System:
I brought out our acrylic paints to continue painting the boys’ model solar system.

The boys finished painting the rest of their planets. We set them aside to dry.
