SOCIAL STUDIES:
Career Path – Becoming a Doctor:
I brought out the Ultimate Body-Pedia so Jordan could read about germs.

Jordan read about Heroes in the medical field, specifically discovering germs or remedies for germ-related illnesses.
Life Skills – Grandparents:

First, I had Jordan read How to Babysit a Grandpa and How to Babysit a Grandma. Both are really cute an funny.
LANGUAGE ARTS:
Friendly Letter:

After reading about grandparents, I asked Bub to write a friendly letter to one of his grandparents. He chose my father, his grandpa. Grandpa stopped by with chocolates, so Bub gave him the letter by hand.
SCIENCE:
Fever – What It Is and How It Works:

Jordan read about viruses and fevers as well as a small blurb about Hippocrates and the Hippocratic oath.
I also printed a copy of the Hippocratic oath for Bub to read. Later we discussed the moral code of doctors, giving real-life examples of doing everything within their power to help any patient, friend or foe.
FINE ARTS:
Sewing and Design:

I brought out a sock puppet kit, only to find it had no socks. We rummages a pair and grabbed some odds and ends to create funny friend.
